1. Who we are

Wakkef! is a free mobile game developed and published by AYN Developer ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and your choices.

By installing or using Wakkef! you accept the terms of this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and display name from that provider (and, for Google, your profile photo if available). You can play Wakkef! fully anonymously without signing in — anonymous users are identified only by a random device-scoped ID that contains no personal information.

2.2 User-generated content

When you create custom levels inside "My Studio", the photos you upload and the AI-extracted cutouts are stored in your account on our Appwrite server (self-hosted on Hetzner infrastructure we manage) so you can play them on any device signed in to your account. You can delete your photos and your account at any time.

Your custom levels and the photos in them are not shown to other players. The Wakkef! team can view them so we can moderate content and remove anything that breaks the rules — this is a requirement for any app that lets people upload their own images.

2.3 Gameplay data

Scores, levels completed, in-game inventory, achievements, and redeemed promo codes are saved to your account so you can resume on another device. This data is private to your account and is not shown to anyone else — with one exception, the global leaderboard described next, which you opt into.

2.4 Global leaderboard (public, optional)

Wakkef! has a global Challenge leaderboard. If you choose to take part, the nickname you pick and your best Challenge score are uploaded to our Appwrite server and displayed publicly to every other player of the game.

This is entirely optional and never happens without you asking for it. The first time a score of yours could be posted, the app asks you to choose a nickname and tells you it will be published; if you decline, nothing is uploaded and your score stays on your device only. You can change your nickname, or remove yourself from the leaderboard entirely, at any time from Settings. Deleting your account also removes your leaderboard entry.

Only the nickname and the score are published. Your email address, your real name, your photos and your custom levels are never shown on the leaderboard. The nickname is yours to choose — you do not have to use your real name.

2.5 Diagnostics

Wakkef! does not send crash reports or diagnostic data to any third-party analytics service. If the app encounters an error, a technical log is kept only on your own device so you can optionally share it with us if you report a problem — it is never transmitted automatically.

2.6 Advertising identifiers

The free version of Wakkef! shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your device settings. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time from your device's privacy settings.

3. How we use the information

• To run the game and sync progress across your devices.
• To publish your chosen nickname and best score on the global leaderboard, if you opt in (see 2.4).
• To moderate inappropriate user-generated content.
• To display ads in the free version (via Google AdMob).
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

Wakkef! relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read:

• Appwrite — account sign-in, database, and file storage, self-hosted on infrastructure we manage.
• Google AdMob — advertising network for the free version.
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — optional account login.

5. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, custom levels, scores, and inventory within 30 days.

To request data deletion outside the app, email us at ayn.developer@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my Wakkef account".

6. Children

Wakkef! is rated for ages 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS for all transport, per-account access rules, encryption at rest) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Effective" date. Continued use of Wakkef! after a change means you accept the updated policy.
